Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the musical stretch on February 11, 2026, at 12:30 PM. The project was executed with assistance from Hungarian experts who have previously deployed similar technology in their home country.
To ensure motorists are adequately prepared, the civic administration has installed multiple warning signboards at strategic distances:
- 500 metres before the musical stretch
- 100 metres before the musical stretch
- 60 metres before the musical stretch
The musical notes are visually marked on the road surface throughout the 500-metre section, providing both visual and auditory cues to drivers.
