Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address young participants through a video message during the 'My Bharat Budget Quest 2026' programme in Jaipur on April 13. This significant event will also see Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma interacting with the winners, highlighting the state's commitment to youth empowerment.

Additional Chief Secretary of the state sports department, Praveen Gupta, has confirmed the details of the two-day 'Viksit Bharat Youth Dialogue' finale, which will be held at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC). The programme aims to actively engage youth in meaningful discussions around national development and policy-making.

Distinguished Attendees

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade, Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, along with other ministers and senior officials, will be present at the event. Their participation underscores the importance of youth voices in shaping India's future.

Pre-Event Activities

As part of the schedule, a 'Women Youth Parliament' will be organised on April 12, exclusively for women participants. This session aims to foster leadership and policy discussions among young women. The day will conclude with the 'Sundays on Cycle' event at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India, promoting the message of "Fit India, Developed India".

Main Event Sessions

On April 13, an inaugural session will kick off the proceedings, followed by 'My Bharat' sessions and two expert panel discussions focusing on youth engagement and nation-building. These discussions are designed to provide insights and encourage active participation from the youth.

Participation Statistics

The 'My Bharat Budget Quest 2026' (Zone 14, Rajasthan) witnessed impressive participation from 75,591 youths in an online quiz conducted between February 1 and February 22. Of these, 3,453 advanced to the essay stage, while around 984 participants were selected for the state-level 'Viksit Bharat Youth Dialogue', including 423 women and 561 men.

Virtual Participation

Additionally, 100 participants from each district will join the event virtually, representing diverse sectors such as school and higher education, startups, agriculture, and technology. This inclusive approach ensures broad representation and engagement from various fields.

The event promises to be a platform for young minds to contribute to the vision of a developed India, with key leaders guiding the discussions and initiatives.
