Pune MLA Hemant Rasne Announces E-Waste Collection Drive Under Clean Kasba Initiative
In a significant move towards environmental sustainability, Kasba Peth MLA Hemant Rasne declared on Saturday the launch of an e-waste collection campaign scheduled for Monday. This initiative is a key component of the ongoing Clean Kasba program, which has been actively transforming the constituency for over one and a half years.

Rasne has made a direct appeal to residents within the Kasba Peth constituency, urging them to participate by handing over all types of electronic waste during this special drive. Emphasizing the campaign's recurring nature, he clarified that this will not be a one-time activity but will be conducted regularly every few weeks to ensure continuous waste management.
Progress in Waste Management and Beautification
Highlighting the achievements under the Clean Kasba initiative, Rasne reported that approximately 30 garbage dumping spots have been successfully cleared in the Kasba Peth area over the past few months. These locations have undergone comprehensive beautification efforts to prevent further waste accumulation, with plans to clear additional spots in the near future.

The collected e-waste will be processed scientifically by the civic administration, a step aimed at mitigating the hazards associated with improper disposal.
