AP to Release Rs 3,125 Cr Annadata Sukhibhava Funds

The Andhra Pradesh government will release the first instalment of financial assistance under the Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan scheme for the 2026-27 fiscal year on Saturday, March 1. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will disburse the funds from Linganguntla village in Chilakaluripet mandal of Palnadu district.

Financial Details of the First Instalment

The first instalment amounts to Rs 3,125.47 crore, which will be directly credited to the bank accounts of 46,85,838 eligible farmer families across the state. This initiative aims to reduce the investment burden on farmers and make agriculture a more profitable and sustainable livelihood.

Among the beneficiaries, 45,69,817 are land-owning farmers, while 1,16,021 are farmers cultivating land under the Recognition of Forest Rights (RoFR) Act. The total amount includes Rs 2,342.92 crore as the state government's share and Rs 782.55 crore as the central government's contribution under the PM Kisan scheme.

Scheme Overview

The Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan scheme is part of the super six assurances of the NDA alliance. It provides financial assistance of Rs 20,000 annually to every eligible farmer family. The state government bears Rs 14,000, while the central government contributes Rs 6,000 through the PM Kisan programme. The assistance is distributed in three instalments each year.

For the first instalment of the current financial year, each eligible farmer family will receive Rs 7,000, comprising Rs 5,000 from the state government and Rs 2,000 under PM Kisan from the central government.

Previous Year's Disbursement

In the 2025-26 financial year, the state government distributed Rs 8,985.41 crore under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme. Of this, the state's contribution was Rs 6,560.18 crore, while the central government's share was Rs 2,425.23 crore.

The government stated that the scheme reflects its commitment to supporting the farming community by providing timely financial assistance for agricultural investments and strengthening the rural economy.

Chief Minister's Schedule

The chief minister will leave Amaravati at 11:55 am on Saturday and reach Linganguntla village at 12:15 pm. He will visit the Anganwadi centre in the village and review the facilities available there at 12:30 pm. Later, Naidu will interact with farmers during a face-to-face programme from 12:50 pm to 1:20 pm. He will hold a meeting with party workers in the afternoon and address a public meeting in the evening.
