No Signs of Forced Entry Initially

Preliminary investigations suggest that the flat was locked from the inside, and there were no visible signs of forced entry. Police have not ruled out any possibilities, including natural death, suicide, or foul play. They are also questioning the building’s security personnel and neighbors to piece together the timeline of events.

“We are waiting for the post-mortem report and forensic analysis. The actor has been informed and is cooperating with the investigation,” another official added.

Actor's Statement

Krishi Thapanda, known for his work in Kannada cinema, expressed shock over the incident. In a brief statement, he said, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend. I urge everyone to wait for the police investigation to conclude before drawing any conclusions.”

The actor has reportedly been assisting the police with information about the deceased’s recent activities and mental state.

Ongoing Probe

The RR Nagar police have registered a case of unnatural death and are probing all angles. Sources say that the friend had been staying in the flat for a few days and had not been in contact with family or friends since Monday. The exact time of death is yet to be established.

This incident adds to a series of suspicious deaths reported in the city this year. Authorities have urged the public to refrain from speculating until the investigation is complete.
