Incident Details

According to the prosecution, the victim's mother filed a complaint at a city police station on May 7, 2025. She stated that she had sent her daughter to a nearby shop to purchase some items. The girl returned crying and told her mother that the shopkeeper had shown her a Rs 100 currency note and inappropriately touched her. He also attempted to pull her inside the shop, but a female customer arrived, causing him to release the girl.

After hearing her daughter's account, the mother and her husband searched for the man. The girl identified him, leading to the filing of a First Information Report (FIR).
