Alwar: The body of a 9-year-old boy was recovered on Thursday night from a well in Malah village, located in the Sewar police station area of Bharatpur. The child, identified as Gudda, had left home around 5 pm to play but did not return until late evening. His family initiated a search and later informed other villagers, who joined the effort.

After searching for five hours, they reached a well about 3 km from the village around 11 pm. Looking inside, they found Gudda. The villagers retrieved the body and took it to RBM Hospital, where it was placed in the mortuary. Following a post-mortem on Friday morning, the body was handed over to the family.

Ravikant, a resident of Malah village and Gudda's father, told TOI that Gudda was his elder son and a third-grade student. The family has demanded a police investigation into the incident.
