Delhi Police has announced the formation of a Special Task Force (STF) to investigate the recent spate of paper leaks that have affected various examinations. The decision was revealed during a press briefing by senior police officials on Monday.

Several cases of paper leaks have been reported in recent months, causing disruptions in academic and recruitment exams. According to police data, at least 15 cases of paper leaks have been registered across the city in the past six months, affecting thousands of candidates. The leaks have raised concerns about the integrity of examination systems.
Composition and Role of the STF
The STF will comprise officers from the Crime Branch, Special Cell, and cyber crime units. A senior official stated, "The STF will coordinate with various agencies to curb the menace of paper leaks. We will use advanced technical surveillance and cyber forensics to trace the origins of leaks." The team will be led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP)-rank officer and will have dedicated members for digital evidence collection.

Following the briefing, police have registered new cases related to recent leaks and arrested two suspects. The STF will re-examine existing cases to identify patterns and masterminds. Officials emphasized that the STF will work round-the-clock to ensure swift justice and restore public confidence.
