Details of the Robbery

According to authorities, a PCR call about the robbery was received at the Model Town police station on Friday. The victim, identified as Kartik, a resident of Mahendru Enclave, reported that he was inside his shop watching a film when three men entered. They reportedly approached him under the pretext of needing help to update their mobile numbers in their Aadhaar details.

Once inside, the situation escalated quickly. One of the men locked the shop door from within, while another allegedly held a pistol to Kartik's head. The third suspect pressed a knife against his neck and demanded money. The trio then decamped with a bag containing Rs 14 lakh in cash, leaving the shopkeeper traumatized.

Police Investigation Underway

A case has been registered in connection with the robbery, and a search has been launched to trace the suspects. Police are actively examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area as part of their investigation. Efforts are focused on identifying the three men and recovering the stolen cash.
