Delhi Teen Stabbed to Death, 17-Year-Old Apprehended

A 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death in the Usmanpur area of Northeast Delhi on Saturday night. Police later apprehended the main suspect in connection with the case.

Incident Details

According to police sources, information regarding the incident was received at around 10 pm from a hospital, where the injured teenager had been brought by his family members. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. Following the incident, police registered a case of murder and launched an investigation.

Preliminary Investigation

Preliminary inquiry revealed that a dispute had broken out hours before the murder between the victim’s younger brother and another youth in the area. Police said the teenager had intervened in an attempt to resolve the altercation. Investigators suspect that the earlier confrontation escalated later in the evening, eventually leading to the fatal stabbing.

Suspect Apprehended

During the course of the investigation, police identified and apprehended a 17-year-old suspect allegedly involved in the attack. Cops are currently questioning the accused to ascertain the exact sequence of events and to determine whether any other individuals were involved in the crime.
