Goldy Dhillon Claims Rajpura Firing, Threatens AAP MLA Neena Mittal

Notorious gangster Goldy Dhillon has claimed responsibility for a firing incident at a property dealer's office in Rajpura town, Patiala district, Punjab, and issued threats against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Neena Mittal. The attack occurred on June 26, 2026, when two masked men opened fire at Laxmi Property Dealer near an underbridge.

Viral Social Media Post Claims Responsibility

A post from an account named “Goldy Dhillon” went viral on social media, stating that the Goldy Dhillon gang, including Rana Dhillon, was behind the attack. The post also contained explicit threats against Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal and her family members. However, police have not officially verified the authenticity of the post or its connection to the firing.

Police Investigation Underway

According to police officials, the assailants arrived on a two-wheeler and fired approximately eight rounds before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. Eyewitnesses stated that one of the accused entered the office and inquired about the owner, Ramesh Pahuja. When a woman employee informed him that Pahuja was not present, the man allegedly pulled out a revolver and opened fire, then escaped with his accomplice.

Rajpura City SHO Gursewak Singh, Patiala SHO Pradeep Bajwa, and other police officials reached the spot shortly after the incident and launched an investigation. The claims made in the viral post remain unsubstantiated, and the allegations against the MLA and the property dealer have not been confirmed.

AAP MLA Neena Mittal Reacts

Speaking to The Tribune, AAP MLA Neena Mittal termed the incident “very unfortunate.” She stated, “Laxhmi Property is a well-known name in the area and has been in this business for the last 20-25 years. The land grabbing allegations and business interest with property dealers are false. He runs his business independently, and neither my family nor I have anything to do with it.”

The incident has raised concerns about law and order in the region, with political leaders calling for swift action against criminal elements. Further updates are awaited as the police continue their probe.
