In a tragic incident in Vadodara, a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death by his wife following a heated argument over lunch. The deceased has been identified as Amit Devipujak, a laborer residing in the Kumbharwada area. The accused, his wife Manju, was arrested by the police from the spot and a case of murder has been registered against her.

According to the police, on Monday afternoon, Manju had cooked food and served it to Amit. However, Amit refused to eat the meal, which upset Manju and led to a quarrel between the couple. In a fit of rage, Amit first struck Manju on the head. Manju then retaliated by picking up a bladed weapon and stabbing him multiple times in the chest and head. Amit collapsed on the spot and died.
Police Action
Neighbors, upon learning about the murder, informed the police. The police team arrived at the scene and arrested Manju, who made no attempt to flee. The couple has two children. The police are now investigating whether there were other reasons for marital discord between the couple beyond this incident.
