West Bengal Police have arrested Sarina Bibi, the wife of jailed former TMC leader Jahangir Khan, also known as "Pushpa," in connection with the June 17 attack on Falta Police Station. According to police, she allegedly orchestrated the mobilization of hundreds of supporters who attempted to march towards the police station to secure Khan's release from custody.

Details of the Arrest

Authorities had deployed police and central forces after receiving intelligence about a possible attack. The investigation has led to more than 25 arrests so far, including Sarina Bibi. Khan was arrested near the India-Nepal border on June 8 and faces multiple criminal cases, including extortion.
