The bodies of the victims reached their home villages on Sunday morning. This triggered emotional outbursts and public anger. Arpit Trivedi, aged 22, was from Latifnagar. Kajal Rawat, aged 21, hailed from Sahijanpur. As funeral processions moved through the area, family members and locals placed the bodies directly on the road. They staged a strong protest. This action led to significant traffic disruption for several hours.
Protesters made specific demands. They asked for Rs 50 lakh in compensation. They also insisted on a government job for a family member. People at the site alleged police negligence. They claimed there was a delay in the police response to the accident.

Arpit's father broke down completely upon seeing his son's body. He revealed a heartbreaking detail. The young man was actively preparing for his wedding. The ceremony was scheduled for February 25. This news added a layer of profound sorrow to the already tragic incident.

Authorities moved quickly to address the road blockade. ACP Krishna Nagar Rajneesh Verma received information about the protest. He immediately reached the site. Details of the Fatal Accident Emerge
According to the police report, the accident happened on Saturday. Arpit was dropping Kajal to work on a scooty. A speeding SUV allegedly hit their two-wheeler head-on. The impact was severe. Both riders were thrown off the vehicle. They then hit a tree. Finally, they fell into a deep roadside ditch. The ditch was about 15 feet deep. Both young individuals died on the spot.
Local residents made a serious allegation. They claimed the SUV driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Police provided further information. They said the vehicle was registered in the name of a resident from Mirzapur village.
"An FIR was registered based on the complaint filed by Arpit's father," stated ACP Rajneesh Verma. "We have seized the SUV involved in the accident. A thorough investigation into this matter is currently underway."
