According to police details, Anita had spent the previous night at a neighbour's house following a dispute with her husband, Tejpal. When she returned and received no response to her persistent knocking, she peered through a hole in the door. To her horror, she found Tejpal's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling fan. The woman immediately raised an alarm, prompting neighbours to inform the local police.
Conflicting Allegations Emerge
The death has sparked a bitter blame game between the two sides. The deceased's family has squarely accused Anita of being responsible for Tejpal's extreme step. They claim that Tejpal had called his brother just two days before his death, confiding that he was being regularly harassed and assaulted by his wife. She accused her in-laws of attempting to falsely implicate her in the case.
