A man was arrested in Prayagraj on Friday for allegedly issuing death and bomb threats against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, using another person's identity to frame him over an old rivalry, police said.
Details of the Arrest
The accused, identified as Nitesh Katiyar, a resident of Shahjahanpur, works as a sanitation worker. According to Ganga Nagar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kuldeep Gunawat, Katiyar allegedly misused the identity of his ex-fiance's brother to post objectionable remarks and threats against the Chief Minister on WhatsApp.
