New Delhi: A man was murdered, and two of his friends were injured after they were chased and attacked at a petrol pump by a group of youths in south Delhi’s Lado Sarai on Saturday night. The assailants repeatedly stabbed the victims at the crowded petrol pump, while bystanders remained mere spectators.
The Incident
In the attack, 24-year-old Ali Aman died on the spot, while his friends Sufiyan and Ritik sustained serious injuries. According to police, Ali Aman had gone there with his friends to refuel their motorcycle. During this time, four to five youths suddenly launched an attack on the trio.
Victims' Attempt to Flee
Family members said that the trio tried to flee, but the attackers chased them down and repeatedly stabbed them with knives. The attack occurred at a busy petrol pump, yet no bystander came forward to help the victims.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the motive behind the attack. No arrests have been made so far. Further details are awaited.
