New Delhi: A 51-year-old man with a criminal record was shot at and critically injured by unidentified assailants in the Tughlaq Road area on Thursday night, police said. Officers suspect personal enmity as the motive behind the attack.

The incident was reported around 9:45 pm. The victim, identified as Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Sunder Nursery's JJ area, was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act.
