Background of the Accused

According to sources, the duo had been living in the Ramnagar locality as tenants, having identified themselves to the landlord and neighbours as traders. When questioned about the illegal weapons, the male detainee reportedly claimed that he had been displaced from Churachandpur and kept the pistol and grenade for “safety” purposes.

Further investigation is underway to determine the exact motives and any possible links to larger networks. The police are also examining the seized documents and mobile phone for additional evidence.
