Dr Raj Kumar Sharma has assumed charge as the new registrar (in-charge) of Ranchi University. Previously serving as the principal of Doranda College, he joined his new role and promptly issued appointment letters to eight candidates who had been awaiting jobs on compassionate grounds for an extended period. The initiative was spearheaded by Ranchi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Saroj Sharma.

Professor Diana Fox of Bridgewater State University, USA, delivered a compelling lecture at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Monday, underscoring that gender equality is fundamental to sustainable development, economic progress, and effective governance. Titled “Breaking barriers, Building inclusive spaces: Challenges and strategies to address global gender disparities through Decolonial feminist partnerships,” the lecture highlighted the need for inclusive partnerships, equitable policies, and community-driven solutions to tackle global gender disparities. Dean (Corporate Communications) Rajni Singh emphasized the event's significance and the growing relevance of discussions on gender justice.
Anti-Drug Campaign at Ramgarh Engineering College
Ramgarh Engineering College in Murubanda village, Ramgarh district, organized an anti-drug awareness programme at the language lab on Tuesday, in collaboration with the institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The event, conducted under the theme “Say no to drugs – choose health, choose life,” aimed to educate students about the perils of substance abuse and encourage a healthy, responsible lifestyle.
