Arrest and Confession

Dadri Station House Officer Neeraj Kumar Singh confirmed that Mohit was arrested from the locality on Thursday. During interrogation, Mohit reportedly confessed to the crime, stating that the argument over cooking led to the fatal altercation.

Police disclosed that Kavita and Mohit had a love marriage, after which her family disowned her. Following the post-mortem examination on Thursday, Kavita's body was handed over to her in-laws for the final rites.
