A 50-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by two of his neighbours on Thursday night in Noida's Badalpur area following a heated argument, police said. The victim's body was found approximately 200 metres from his residence in Achheja Chapraula.

Incident Details

According to ADCP (Central Noida) Swatantra Singh, locals alerted the emergency helpline number 112 after discovering a man with a gunshot wound to the head. When police arrived at the scene, they identified the deceased as Jeevan Kishor, a dairy owner. His body was sent for post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigation revealed that two neighbours, Vishal Kashyap and Vicky, visited Kishor around 9 pm on Thursday in an intoxicated state. The accused called Kishor outside, and during the conversation, an argument escalated. The duo allegedly shot Kishor and fled the scene.

Family and Police Response

Kishor's family informed police that he was close friends with the two accused and there was no known enmity between them. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the murder and the reason for the argument.

An FIR has been registered under Section 103 (murder) of the BNS at Badalpur police station. ADCP Singh stated, “Five teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects, and further investigation is underway.”

Kishor, who ran a dairy business, was a resident of Achheja Chapraula. The incident has shocked the local community, as the victim and accused were reportedly close associates. Police are exploring all angles to determine what led to the fatal confrontation.
