On Friday evening, Lt General Mann was taking his regular walk in Panchkula when an unidentified vehicle struck him. The impact proved fatal. Authorities rushed him to Chandimandir Command Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries early Saturday morning at 3 AM on January 10, 2026.

Lt General KS Mann enjoyed an illustrious career spanning more than 35 years in the Indian Army. He received his commission into the 3rd Battalion of the Bihar Regiment on June 12, 1960. Throughout his service, he held numerous prestigious positions.
