Sequence of Events at the Five-Star Hotel
Police were alerted by the hotel staff at approximately 12:40 pm after a loud thud was heard. They rushed to find the man lying on the ground. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Preliminary investigations revealed that the resident of Lajpat Nagar had entered the hotel and proceeded directly to the 20th floor.
Authorities reviewing CCTV footage confirmed his movement towards that floor just before the incident. The 20th floor houses a restaurant and, unlike other controlled-access floors, is more freely accessible. Notably, no one witnessed the actual moment of the fall. Police confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the spot or from the deceased.
