PSC mistakenly uses murder accused photo in bulletin for award-winning writer
PSC uses wrong photo in bulletin for writer

Thiruvananthapuram: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has landed in a controversy after it erroneously used the photograph of a murder accused instead of a screenplay writer in its bulletin published in May.

Error in Bulletin

In a write-up on the 49th Kerala Film Critics Award, the photograph of Akash Thillankeri, a CPM worker accused in the murder of Youth Congress worker S P Shuhaib, was used in place of the image of Rajesh Thillankeri, who won the award for Best Screenplay. Rajesh's name was correctly mentioned in the article.

Details of the Mistake

The error appeared under the current affairs section of the bulletin, which publishes details of examinations, results, and rank lists. The mistake was later corrected in the e-version of the bulletin.
