Teen Dies, Two Injured in Hazaribag Bike Accident

A 14-year-old teenager died, and two others sustained serious injuries in a bike accident at Pipradih village under Nayatanr Panchayat in Barkagaon block, Hazaribag. The deceased has been identified as Ashwin Yadav. The injured youths, Manish Yadav (15) and Karan Yadav (20), are undergoing treatment at Barkagaon Community Health Centre (CHC).

Accident Details

According to Karan's mother, Sunita Devi, the accident occurred while the trio was riding a bike. “Near Vishrampur Murkati village, the speeding bike went out of control, went off the road, and fell into a roadside pit, leading to the accident,” she said.

Police Response

Barkagaon Officer-in-Charge (OC) Deepak Kumar Singh confirmed that the body was handed over to relatives after postmortem.
