All Four Accused Now in Custody

With the arrest of Haqeeqat and Sagar, all four accused in the case have been apprehended. The two had been absconding since the incident. Earlier, the Crime Branch had arrested Arman (19) and Tushar (21), both residents of Sonepat, Haryana, in Bahadurgarh.

Details of the Encounter

According to police, Haqeeqat and Sagar had reached west Delhi on Wednesday night with the intention of committing another crime. Acting on specific intelligence, Special Cell teams intercepted them. The accused allegedly opened fire upon spotting the police team, prompting the officers to retaliate. Investigators revealed that the four accused are connected to gangster Anil Pandit, an alleged operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang believed to be based in the United States. Following the firing incident, Pandit claimed responsibility in a social media post, stating that Randhawa’s gym was targeted because of the singer’s alleged proximity to actor Salman Khan, whom the Bishnoi gang considers an adversary.
