A tragic accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway claimed two lives and left four others injured early Friday morning. The incident occurred around 1:40 am near the Marora cut under the Nagina police station area in Gurgaon.

Details of the Incident

According to police, the victims were returning home after finishing work in Delhi. They were traveling in an Innova car with six occupants. The vehicle had stopped on the side lane near the Marora cut when a speeding truck rammed into it from behind and fled the scene. The impact severely damaged the car.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Vipin, 38, a resident of Delhi's Bawana, and Musa alias Mosim, 35, from Ted village in Nuh district. Both died on the spot. Four other occupants sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital, where one is reported to be in critical condition.

Police Investigation

A team from the Nagina police station reached the spot and initiated rescue operations. The bodies were sent for autopsy. Vipin's autopsy was conducted at Madikheda Hospital, while Musa's was performed at Nalhar Medical College.

Police are analyzing CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and its driver. A family member revealed that the group had been visiting relatives a day earlier and were returning when the accident occurred.
