Warangal: To prevent the entry of offenders from northern states, Warangal police commissioner Sunpreeth Singh has implemented a monitoring strategy at Warangal and Kazipet railway stations.
Deployment of Police Teams
Speaking to the media, the CP said that as a preventive measure, one Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), one Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and four special police teams have been deployed at the railway stations for round-the-clock monitoring.
Passenger Cooperation Sought
He also urged passengers to cooperate with the police teams during checks. The initiative aims to enhance security and deter criminal elements from entering the city via rail routes.
This strategy is part of a broader effort to maintain law and order in Warangal, with a focus on preventing potential threats from outside the region. The police have assured that the checks will be conducted with minimal inconvenience to the public.
