A 50-year-old watchman was discovered murdered at a construction site on Raliyati Road in Dahod district on Wednesday morning. The deceased, identified as Manu Parmar, had recently started working at the site and was residing alone in a tin shed there.

Discovery of the Body

When workers arrived at the site in the morning, they found Parmar lying in a pool of blood in an open area. The Dahod town police were immediately alerted and rushed to the spot. Preliminary investigations suggest that Parmar was killed after being struck on the head with a blunt object. His body was found with a towel wrapped around the waist.

Forensic and CCTV Analysis

Forensic experts were called to the scene to collect evidence. Police have also begun scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the assailants. The investigation is in its early stages, and authorities are working to piece together the events leading up to the murder.

Family's Statement

Parmar is survived by two sons. One of his sons informed the police that his father's mobile phone had been switched off since early morning. The phone was not found on the body or in his room at the construction site, raising suspicions of robbery or foul play.
