A 22-year-old woman sustained critical injuries after falling from the 11th floor of a commercial building in the Vibhuti Khand area of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, on Sunday evening, according to police officials.
Incident Details
The incident occurred at Parshvanath Plaza, where the woman was employed as a telecaller with a private firm. Upon receiving information about the fall, police immediately rushed her to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences for emergency treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman fell from a balcony attached to a bathroom on the office premises. A police officer stated, "The exact circumstances leading to the incident are still being verified."
Family and Investigation
Her family members have been informed and have arrived at the hospital. Police teams inspected the scene and are collecting evidence. Officials said that all angles, including accidental fall and other possibilities, are being examined.
"The woman remains under treatment, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation," said SHO Vibhuti Khand Amar Singh.
