Woman Found Strangled on Isolated Road in Navi Mumbai

In a shocking incident, the Panvel city police discovered the body of a woman dumped on an isolated road near Bambaipada village along the Uran-Panvel road in Panvel taluka on Sunday morning. Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman was strangled using a cloth, leading the police to register a murder case.

Victim Identified

The victim has been identified as a resident of Mankhurd, a suburb in Mumbai. Senior Inspector Nitin Thakare of the Panvel city police station confirmed the identity and stated that efforts are underway to track down the suspects.

Investigation Underway

Police are currently scanning CCTV footage from the area to gather vital clues. The isolated location suggests the body was dumped after the murder. Authorities are also questioning locals and checking vehicle movements in the vicinity.
