In the Cheyyar constituency, Mukkur N. Subramanian of the AIADMK secured a clear victory by polling 86,680 votes. He defeated TVK's Dusi K. Mohan by a margin of 21,081 votes. DMK's Jothi O finished third with 59,894 votes, as the constituency delivered a decisive mandate in favour of the AIADMK.

The Cheyyur constituency witnessed a high-stakes battle with the DMK-led alliance fielding the prominent VCK leader Sinthanai Selvan, who replaced the incumbent M Babu. He faced E Rajasekar of the AIADMK, who campaigned aggressively on improving rural infrastructure. The entry of K Mohanraja, representing the TVK, and Swathi Lakshmi of the NTK further electrified the race, as they vied for the significant youth and first-time voter segments in this SC reserved seat.
