Ajmer Officials Gear Up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Public Gathering
On Tuesday, officials from multiple departments conducted a thorough inspection of Kayar Vishram Sthali in Ajmer to prepare the venue for hosting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 28. The visit focused on finalizing arrangements for a large-scale public event, with particular emphasis on implementing robust security protocols.
High-Level Security and Infrastructure Assessment
Led by key administrative and police figures, the team meticulously evaluated the site to ensure all necessary facilities are in place. Divisional Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore, Ajmer Range Inspector General of Police Rajendra Singh, District Collector Lokbandhu, and SP Ajmer Vandita Rana were among the senior officials who visited the venue located on Jaipur Road. During the inspection, they discussed the proposed 5-layer security measures designed to safeguard the area during the Prime Minister's address.
District Collector Lokbandhu emphasized that responsibilities have been clearly assigned to various officials and magistrates, who are tasked with inspecting every facility on-site to guarantee seamless execution. This proactive approach aims to address any potential logistical or security challenges well in advance of the event.
Major Announcements and Employment Initiatives Planned
The public gathering is set to feature significant announcements from Prime Minister Modi, including the distribution of appointment letters to 21,000 youths under the Rozgar Utsav programme. Additionally, he will unveil development works worth Rs 23,500 crore for the state, marking a substantial boost to regional infrastructure and economic growth.
Kayar Vishram Sthali, traditionally used as accommodation for devotees during the yearly Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, is being temporarily repurposed to host this high-profile event. Officials noted that preparations involve adapting the space for a large public gathering while ensuring all security measures are rigorously implemented.
Political and Administrative Collaboration
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and other state ministers are scheduled to join Prime Minister Modi at the programme, highlighting the collaborative effort between central and state leadership. This event underscores the government's focus on employment generation and developmental projects, with Ajmer serving as a pivotal location for these announcements.
The meticulous planning and coordination by officials reflect the importance of the occasion, aiming to create a secure and efficient environment for the Prime Minister's address and the associated initiatives.
