BJP slams Rahul Gandhi for politicising NEET exam issues

Hyderabad: BJP state chief spokesperson NV Subash on Thursday criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly politicising students’ concerns over the NEET examination, asserting that education should not be used as a platform for political opportunism.

“Students are not political tools, and every examination-related challenge cannot be converted into an opportunity for Rahul Gandhi to launch a political campaign,” he said.

Subash said that, unlike previous governments, the Narendra Modi-led government has acknowledged the seriousness of paper leaks and taken decisive steps to address the issue.

He highlighted measures such as the enactment of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, stricter penalties for those involved in paper leaks, enhanced powers for investigative agencies to crack down on organised cheating syndicates, and technology-driven reforms to strengthen examination systems.

“Under PM Narendra Modi, there is zero tolerance for examination fraud,” he said.

Subash maintained that the BJP stands firmly with students by strengthening institutions, ensuring transparency and creating a system where merit alone determines success.

PM Modi cares for every Indian life

The BJP on Thursday said PM Narendra Modi has once again demonstrated that the life and safety of every Indian citizen, whether on land or at sea, remain a non-negotiable national priority for Bharat. BJP state chief spokesperson NV Subash said the PM’s direct intervention with US President Donald Trump regarding the safety of Indian seafarers reflects the confidence and global stature that Bharat enjoys today.

“Unlike governments of the past, Bharat today raises issues affecting Indians directly at the highest international platforms. Prime Minister Modi conveyed India’s concerns face-to-face and sought assurances on freedom of navigation and the safety of lakhs of seafarers who contribute immensely to global commerce,” Subash said.
