CBSE-NEET Row: Cockroach Janta Party Invites BJP to Join Stir

Protest Over CBSE-NEET Irregularities Intensifies

The Cockroach Janta Party has escalated its agitation over alleged irregularities in the CBSE and NEET examinations, calling on all political parties—including the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party—to join the stir. The party has demanded accountability from the government, accusing it of mismanagement and lack of transparency in the conduct of these crucial exams.

Party Invites Cross-Party Participation

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson said, "We invite all political parties, including the BJP, to participate in this movement. The issue is not about politics but about the future of millions of students. We must hold the government accountable for the mess in CBSE and NEET." The party has planned a series of protests and public meetings across the country.

According to the party, over 2,000 students and parents have already joined the stir in the past week. The protests have gained traction on social media, with hashtags like #CBSEFairness and #NEETAccountability trending.

Allegations of Paper Leaks and Marking Errors

The row stems from reports of paper leaks and discrepancies in the evaluation process. The Cockroach Janta Party has alleged that the government has failed to ensure a fair and transparent examination system. "Students are suffering due to the negligence of the authorities. We demand a high-level inquiry and strict action against those responsible," the spokesperson added.

The party has also criticized the National Testing Agency (NTA) for its handling of the NEET-UG exam, pointing to errors in answer keys and delayed results. Similar issues have been flagged in CBSE board exams, where students reported out-of-syllabus questions and marking inconsistencies.

Political Reactions and Support

While the BJP has not yet responded to the invitation, opposition parties have expressed support for the cause. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "The youth of India deserve a fair chance. We stand with the students and demand accountability from the Modi government." Other parties like the Aam Aadmi Party and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) have also voiced solidarity.

The Cockroach Janta Party, known for its satirical political activism, has previously led campaigns on issues like corruption and education reform. This time, their stir has struck a chord with students and parents across the country.

Government Response

The Ministry of Education has denied allegations of large-scale irregularities, stating that isolated incidents have been addressed. A ministry spokesperson said, "The CBSE and NEET exams are conducted with the highest standards. Any specific complaints are investigated promptly." However, critics argue that the government's response has been inadequate.

Impact on Students

With over 20 lakh students appearing for NEET and 15 lakh for CBSE Class 12 exams annually, the stakes are high. Many students have expressed anxiety over the uncertainty. "We have worked hard for years. The government must ensure our efforts are not wasted due to administrative failures," said a student from Delhi.

The Cockroach Janta Party has announced a nationwide protest on March 15, urging students and parents to join. The party has also threatened to move court if the government fails to act.
