The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), under the leadership of Abhijeet Dipke, has announced a fresh peaceful protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, urging students and job aspirants nationwide to gather and voice concerns over paper leaks, examination irregularities, and recruitment delays. This marks the group's second peaceful demonstration in the national capital.
Final Call to Protect Students' Future
In a post on social media platform X, Dipke described the upcoming protest as the "final call to save the future of students." He invited participants to join the demonstration scheduled for June 20 at Jantar Mantar. The protest aims to draw attention to systemic issues affecting competitive examinations.
Growing Concerns Over Examination Integrity
The call for protest comes amid intensifying debates over the integrity of competitive exams following controversies surrounding NEET, recruitment tests, and other entrance examinations. The CJP has been actively campaigning for examination reforms and accountability.
Previous Protests and Assault on Leader
The CJP has previously organized protests in several cities, including Amritsar, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. The latest phase of its campaign concluded in Jaipur, where Dipke was reportedly assaulted. Despite this, the group continues its demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the NEET paper leak case and the CBSE OSM issue.
Demands for Accountability
The group is steadfast in its demand for the education minister's resignation, holding him responsible for the alleged lapses in examination conduct. The protest at Jantar Mantar is expected to draw significant participation from affected students and job seekers.
