Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has launched a scathing attack on the Shiv Sena (UBT) over its alleged prioritization of funding for politicians over students. Speaking on Thursday, Dipke accused elected representatives of transforming education into a profit-driven business.
Criticism of Political Priorities
Dipke remarked, "They have money for MPs and MLAs, but not for students." He highlighted the disparity in resource allocation, claiming that while politicians enjoy substantial benefits, the education sector suffers from neglect. The CJP founder emphasized that this approach undermines the future of the nation's youth.
Education as a Business
According to Dipke, many elected leaders view education solely as a commercial opportunity rather than a fundamental right. He stated, "Elected representatives have turned education into a business." This, he argued, has led to rising costs and reduced access for underprivileged students.
Dipke's comments come amid ongoing debates about education funding in India. The CJP has positioned itself as a voice for students, advocating for increased government investment in schools and universities. The party has also called for stricter regulations to prevent profiteering in the education sector.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) has not yet responded to Dipke's allegations. However, the controversy highlights broader concerns about political accountability and the state of education in the country.
