According to an official statement from the Delhi Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the newly initiated projects in Mundka encompass 49 distinct initiatives designed to bring urban amenities to this rural pocket of the city. Chief Minister Gupta highlighted that over the past year, the Delhi government has kickstarted development works totaling Rs 1,600 crore across the capital's rural areas. This substantial investment underscores a focused approach to bridging the urban-rural divide.

Upon completion, these projects are expected to deliver transformative benefits to the Mundka Assembly constituency, including:

The Chief Minister criticized previous Delhi governments for their neglect of villages, which led to persistent issues such as:
- Deteriorated and broken roads
- Dilapidated drainage systems
- Shortages of schools, hospitals, and colleges
To ensure systematic and accelerated progress, the government has allocated a dedicated budget of Rs 1,000 crore specifically for village development, facilitating planned advancements across rural Delhi.
