The district administration of East Champaran has officially identified seven migrant workers who lost their lives and six others who sustained critical injuries in a devastating explosion at a firecracker factory located in Khuskheda, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, on February 16. According to district sources, the victims have been identified as follows:
- Abhishek Kumar (35), Shyam Kumar (19), and Amresh Kumar (17) from Matiaria village in Harsidhi block.
- Rabi Kumar (19) and Mantu Kumar (14) from Murarpur village in Harsidhi block.
- Mintu Kumar (22) from Nagarawa tola in Ghorasahan block.
- Sujant Kumar (18) from Narayanpur under Chiraiya block.
These individuals, ranging in age from 14 to 35, were migrant workers who had traveled to Rajasthan in search of employment, highlighting the risks often faced by laborers in such hazardous industries.
