In a strongly worded statement on Tuesday, Congress Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Deepender Hooda, expressed deep resentment over the filing of a case against Congress legislator from Guhla, Devendra Hans. Hooda demanded that if there is even a shred of respect for democracy within the system, the case should be withdrawn immediately without any further delay.
Demand for SDM Transfer and Impartial Inquiry
Hooda specifically targeted the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) involved in the matter, stating that the official who did not listen to the public representative should be transferred immediately. He emphasized that a fair and impartial inquiry must be conducted to examine all aspects of this controversial situation. The Congress MP warned that if these demands are not met promptly, all ministers of the BJP government would be symbolically given rattles as a form of protest.
