Kejriwal Hails Court Verdict as Historic, Slams Modi and BJP at Delhi Rally
Kejriwal Calls Court Ruling Historic, Attacks Modi at Rally

Kejriwal Celebrates Court Verdict as Landmark Victory at Jantar Mantar Rally

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal delivered a fiery speech at a rally held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Sunday. He lauded a recent Delhi court ruling in the excise policy case as a "historic decision" that benefits the people of Delhi and the entire nation.

Court Ruling Declared Fake Case, Says Kejriwal

Referring to the verdict issued just two days prior, Kejriwal stated, "The day before yesterday, a Delhi court delivered a historic verdict in favour of the people of Delhi and the country. I congratulate the people and thank the judge. In today's atmosphere of fear, the judge took such a bold stand." This rally followed the court's decision to discharge Kejriwal, former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia, and 21 other individuals in the excise policy case.

Allegations of Conspiracy Against Modi and Shah

Kejriwal made serious allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming they orchestrated a four-year-long campaign to target him and his party. "For four years, Modi ji and Amit Shah tried to harass Delhi's people. They claimed I was corrupt, that I took ₹100 crore. But the judge has declared that the case was fake and that I am honest. Lawyers are saying such a verdict is once in centuries," he asserted.

Directly addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership, Kejriwal added, "To finish AAP, Modi ji himself was monitoring this case. But this verdict is a tight slap on the face of Modi ji, Amit Shah, and the BJP."

Personal Journey and Defense of Integrity

Sharing details of his personal background, Kejriwal emphasized his commitment to public service. "I love my country. At IIT, I scored well. I could have gone to America for a job, but I chose to serve India. I joined the Income Tax Department and refused bribes. People in the department respected my honesty," he recounted.

He further noted that despite becoming Chief Minister of Delhi, multiple inquiries ordered by Prime Minister Modi against him have yielded no findings of wrongdoing.

Criticism of Congress and BJP Governance

Expanding his critique to both major political parties, Kejriwal said, "People, frustrated with Congress corruption, gave BJP a full majority. What have they got in 12 years? No good roads, no water. Railways, airlines, banks, education—everything is in disarray." This statement highlights his broader political narrative against the incumbent and previous governments.

The event, which drew significant attention, underscores ongoing political tensions in the national capital as Kejriwal positions the court verdict as a vindication of his and AAP's integrity amidst legal challenges.
