In a significant political move, Opposition leader V. D. Satheesan announced the composition of the Kerala Cabinet on Sunday, just hours before the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. The ordinance amends the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Act, 1956, and has been promulgated by the President following the recommendation of the Union Cabinet.
