RJD Claims Bihar Faces Crises After Nitish Kumar Pushed Out by BJP
RJD: Bihar in Crisis After Nitish Kumar Ousted by BJP

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that Bihar is reeling under crimes and inflation ever since Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was 'pushed out of power' by the BJP. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha asserted that there is no functional government in Bihar.

Mandate Violated, Says RJD

Jha claimed that the people of Bihar had given a clear mandate to Nitish Kumar in the 2025 assembly elections. However, he alleged that the BJP orchestrated a political move to oust Kumar and take control of the state government. 'The BJP does not have a mandate to rule Bihar. They have usurped power through backdoor politics,' Jha said.

Rising Crimes and Inflation

The RJD leader highlighted a sharp increase in criminal activities and rising inflation in the state since the change in leadership. 'Law and order has deteriorated, and the common man is struggling with price rise. The BJP-led government has failed to address these issues,' he added.

Jha's remarks come amid growing political tensions in Bihar, with the RJD and its allies accusing the BJP of destabilizing the democratically elected government. The opposition has called for immediate intervention by the Governor to restore constitutional order.

BJP's Response

The BJP has dismissed the allegations, terming them baseless. Party spokesperson Samrat Choudhary said, 'The RJD is frustrated after losing power. The state is progressing under the BJP's leadership, and we are committed to the welfare of the people.'

Political analysts believe that the ongoing feud could impact the stability of the state government ahead of the upcoming elections. Meanwhile, the RJD has announced plans to hold statewide protests against the 'illegal' government.
