Two Brothers Die in Ujjain Tractor Accident

Two brothers from Barandwa village in Tarana tehsil died after a tractor struck their motorcycle in the Vijayganj Mandi police station area near Ujjain on Thursday night. The deceased were identified as 80-year-old Pirulal and his 72-year-old brother Bhagirath. They were traveling to Ujjain for a family function, riding a motorcycle driven by Pirulal’s grandson, Abhishek.

Details of the Incident

The trio was heading to a 'godh bharai' ceremony for Pirulal’s great-grandchild in the Nagjhiri police station area of Ujjain. The accident occurred when a tractor rammed into their motorcycle in the Vijayganj Mandi area. All three were rushed to Ujjain district hospital, where doctors declared Pirulal dead on arrival. Family members rushed to the hospital.

Injuries and Treatment

Bhagirath and Abhishek, who were in critical condition, were shifted to a private hospital. Bhagirath succumbed to his injuries, while Abhishek is undergoing treatment. Both bodies were sent for postmortem examination on Friday morning.

Background of the Deceased

Family members said Pirulal was a farmer, while Bhagirath had retired as a lineman from the electricity department a decade ago. The tragic incident has left the family in deep shock.
