A tragic accident occurred on Sunday when a car veered off the Shoghi-Mehli road near Badagaon in Shimla and plunged into a nearly 100-metre deep gorge, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to two others. The deceased have been identified as Suman Sharma, aged 69, and his wife Leela Devi, aged 64, both residents of Bilaspur district. Their son Akhil Kumar, who was driving the vehicle, and Nirmala Devi, a resident of Sargeen in Shimla, sustained injuries in the incident.
