Ward No. 6 councillor Zorawar Singh was unanimously elected president of the Lalru Municipal Council on June 26, 2026. Ward No. 8 councillor Harish Madan was elected senior vice-president, and Aman Rana from Ward No. 4 was elected vice-president. The elections for the three top posts were conducted after the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected councillors. The post of Lalru Municipal Council president is reserved.
