Kanpur Seminar Urges Peaceful Eid-ul-Azha Celebrations

A seminar was organized on Tuesday in the Bajaria police station area of Kanpur, ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) festival. Participants appealed for the festival to be celebrated in an atmosphere of mutual harmony, brotherhood, and peace. Instructions were issued to perform qurbani (sacrifice) only at designated locations and to pay special attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

Participants appealed to people not to share misleading or objectionable posts on social media and not to pay heed to rumors. They also urged the public to immediately inform the local police about any suspicious activity or dispute.

Attendance and Leadership

Prominent individuals and Peace Committee members from Chamanganj, Bajaria, and Sisamau police stations participated in the seminar, which was chaired by DCP (Central) Atul Kumar Srivastava. Also present were Additional DCP (Central) Dr. Archana Singh, ACP Sisamau, and officers in charge of Chamanganj, Bajaria, and Sisamau police stations.
