Bengaluru to Launch 10 PSK-Style Centres for Faster E-Khata Processing

In a significant move to streamline property documentation, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has announced the establishment of 10 new PSK-style centres across Bengaluru. This initiative aims to drastically reduce the processing time for e-khata applications to just two days, enhancing efficiency and convenience for citizens.

Accelerated Processing and High Success Rate

Speaking to reporters, Shivakumar revealed that the current system is already showing impressive results. Approximately 60% of e-khata applications are now being issued within 24 hours, demonstrating a robust and responsive administrative framework. This rapid turnaround is part of a broader effort to modernize property registration processes in Karnataka's capital.

The data further underscores the effectiveness of the e-khata system: out of the 9.34 lakh applications received so far, a remarkable 9.31 lakh have been successfully processed. This translates to a processing rate of over 99.6%, highlighting the government's commitment to clearing backlogs and ensuring timely service delivery.

The introduction of 10 PSK-style centres is modeled after the Passport Seva Kendras, known for their efficient and user-friendly services.
