BJP chief slams Punjab CM Mann's press conference as theatrical

State BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon has strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, calling his recent press conference 'theatrical' and 'misleading.' Dhillon accused Mann of deliberately avoiding serious issues facing the state and instead making diversionary statements.

CM Mann evaded key questions, says Dhillon

During the press conference, Mann claimed he was not the person seen in a controversial video that has been circulating. However, Dhillon pointed out that the Chief Minister remained silent on several critical matters. 'Throughout the press conference, CM Mann deliberately avoided speaking on the most serious questions facing Punjab. He maintained complete silence on the alleged Rs 10 lakh bribe for procuring the fake forensic report, the Gurugram FIR and the disturbing involvement of the Punjab Police,' Dhillon stated.

Kejriwal's silence questioned

Dhillon further questioned the silence of AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal, suggesting that his refusal to respond raised even more serious questions about the involvement of the AAP leadership. The BJP chief's remarks come amid ongoing political tensions in Punjab, with the opposition accusing the ruling AAP government of corruption and mismanagement.

The controversy revolves around a video that allegedly shows Mann in a compromising situation, which the Chief Minister has denied. The BJP, however, continues to press for answers, demanding transparency from the state government.
